About My Clinical Outcomes

My Clinical Outcomes (MCO) is a digital healthcare company with ambitious plans to change how healthcare is measured and delivered globally. We provide a technology that enables organisations to understand the quality of their care from the perspective of the patient – measuring the true ‘outcomes’ of care. This is a new and exciting development in the healthcare sector, with support from many influential organisations and individuals.

MCO enables patients to remotely complete tailored outcomes assessments through an easy-to-use website that is compatible with all mobile, tablet, laptop and desktop devices. Data is delivered in real-time to care providers, clinicians, administrative staff and managers, as required, so that they can immediately use the valuable insight to inform clinical and management decisions.

This data is powerful in terms of improving clinical quality of care, engaging patients and taking out costs. This is particularly relevant at a time when healthcare systems are under more pressure than ever before.

MCO was founded in 2011 by doctors who are passionate about helping organisations to use outcomes data to deliver higher value care. We have collected and analysed outcomes data at over 70 hospitals, with over 1,000 registered clinicians and 10,000 patients. The platform is relevant for a wide range of conditions from surgical procedures to mental health care and physiotherapy.

All of our development is done in-house, with our technical team based in our Reading office.

The Role

First and foremost, we are looking for someone who is driven and happy to get stuck in. The role will be varied with a range of responsibilities, giving great exposure to working in a dynamic healthcare company.

Team culture is important to us so we want someone who is fun and excited by the prospect of working in healthcare and delivering a great service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Support for patients and hospital staff using MCO – including site visits and responding to queries from our clients and patients
  • Reporting of performance to our clients – using analytics to pull out key information to help our clients to get the most value from the data
  • Product development – raising bugs and identifying improvement opportunities, working closely with our technical team to make sure our technology meets clients’ needs
  • Management of our social media channels
  •  Management of our website
  • Industry and competitor research to support sales activities

The key skills we expect from any applicant are:

  • Proactive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong numeracy
  • Proficient at Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Interest in the healthcare industry
  • Statistics experience preferable but not required
  • 2:1 degree or higher[SD1]
